Abstract
FAUNAS AND CLIMATE IN THE QUATERNARY OF THE MESOPOTAMIA OF ARGENTINA. Published and unpublished data on fauna and climatic conditions during the Quaternary in the mesopotamic provinces are summarized. In Misiones signals of climatic change were not detected in faunas of the Holocene. In Corrientes, the fauna of the Pleistocene indicates drier conditions that the current ones. In Entre Ríos faunas related with the last interglacial (warm and humid) and other related with an arid event in the late Holocene, were determined. Radiocarbonic dates and their calibrations in calendar years are included.
