Distribución de la vegetación fluvial y su relación con el régimen de pulsos en el bajo Paraná
Descargar trabajo en formato PDFAbstract
The Paraná River has an irregular hydrological regime with regular and extreme floods and at the sites it flows as a typical floodplain river. The pulse regime (frequency, intensity, duration and seasonal variation) is the most important macro-factor that controls the distribution of plants in fluvial systems. Greater part of vegetation fluvial is distributed in a wide range of habitat conditions, showing it plasticity (euritypia) in populations curves. In other words: the plants are resistents to critical hydroperiods.
