Resumen

Este trabajo busca aproximar la discusión sobre la hipótesis de que las designaciones del patrimonio local, que luego son reconocidos mundialmente, se transforman en el eje principal de la economía y de la planificación turística de los lugares que lo contienen; en base a esto se expone, brevemente, el proceso de patrimonializacion del Parque Nacional Talampaya (PNT) designado Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO por su excepcional valor científico en materia geológica/paleontológico, con el objetivo de enfatizar en la gestión turística la importancia de estos procesos. Se constataron los resultados mediante recopilación de bibliografía y lectura de material general y específico a la temática, asimismo se realizaron entrevistas a informantes claves y encuestas al servicio hotelero, como principales técnicas usadas. Entre los resultados preliminares se obtuvo: que el desarrollo turístico en torno del PNT se relaciona aún más con la articulación de las políticas turísticas que se impulsaron en los diferentes niveles de Estado, que con la hipótesis que inicia este estudio.

Abstract

WORLD HERITAGE: TALAMPAYA NATIONAL PARK IMPORTANCE IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT. This paper seeks to approximate the discussion on the hypothesis that the designations of local heritage, which are then recognized worldwide, become the main axis of the economy and tourist planning of the places that contain it; based on this, the patrimonialization process of the Talampaya National Park (PNT), designated World Heritage by UNESCO for its exceptional scientific value in geological/paleontological matters, is briefly exposed, with the aim of emphasizing the importance of these in tourism management processes. The results were verified through the collection of bibliography and reading of general and specific material on the subject, as well as interviewing key informants and surveys of the hotel service, as well as the main techniques used. Among the preliminary results was obtained: that the tourism development around the PNT is even more related to the articulation of the tourism policies that were promoted in the different levels of State, than with the hypothesis that initiates this study.
