Abstract: FRESHWATER FOSSILS MOLLUSCA OF THE ITUZAINGÓ FORMATION, PLIOCENE,

CORRIENTES ARGENTINA.- Several freshwater fossils mollusca of the greenish clays and fine sandstones

of Ituzaingó Formation outcropping in Empedrado, and Ituzaingó, Corrientes is mentioned and illustrated. The

species are: Diplodon aff. Delodontus (Lamark), Anodontites aff. Trapesialis susannae, Anodontites ? sp., Mycetopoda herbsti

Morton y Jalfin y Mycetopoda kurtziana (Morton), Diplopodon itapuensis and D. ituzaingoensis.
